SPSS, Inc, Research Manager
Accomplishments:  Managed ad hoc and tracking studies for a variety of research companies, including Millward Brown, Directions and MSW, as well as end clients, including Avon. Responsibilities included working with client as well as with survey programming and data tabulation teams, overseeing data collection and ensuring that the entire process ran smoothly.
 Collaborated with software design consultant to develop software that tracked all phases of a project including estimating, programming, testing, field time and billing, along with a checklist and reminder system, resulting in a simplified process, reduced work on repetitive tasks and fewer errors.
 Along with technical team, developed a client specific database and process for contacting members of that database. These members were part of the client’s sales force, and the data that resulted from interviewing them enabled the client to more accurately forecast sales.
 Developed report template for data obtained from product-testing surveys, including a photo of each item, and the resultant data scores, making it possible for the client to quickly analyze the data.
 Trained and coached interns and new employees, to ensure that they had a broad understanding of the Market Research Industry.
