Accomplishments: As an accomplished marketer I’ve been hired by agencies (and one non-profit) looking for game changing
ideas, actionable insight-driven strategy, research and analysis skills, activation concept
ideation and comprehensive tactical marketing plans (as well as execution oversight of those plans).
Asked to lead strategic development and provide thought-leadership for one agency’s most
important account, I delivered consumer, shopper and retail marketing expertise to a major European retailer who’ll soon be launching in the U.S. In this capacity I drove the overarching
strategic approach, constructed the tactical plan framework and helped guide creative output – all
of which are critical to driving trial, repeat traffic and basket size for the retailer.
• Tapped by the same agency’s Chief Strategy Officer to participate in their biggest new business pitch in years, I combed through a mountain of secondary research and identified the salient
consumer insight the pitch strategy and campaign were based on.
• I helped guide the creation of a new brand identity for a group of 27 regional medical centers and then designed, fielded and analyzed primary research to determine its efficacy. .
• Called in on the launch of two new Nestle products, I used raw Simmons data to develop profiles of the target consumers, identified messaging barriers and opportunities, came up with the overall
communication strategies for each, then delivered retail, consumer promotion, social, digital and
media thought-starters to illustrate ways to bring each product strategy to life.

SAI Marketing, VP Account Director
Accomplishments: SAI, a small agency known primarily for co-marketing programs, was looking to broaden its client base by increasing its areas of expertise – in my case with advertising, integrated, retailer and shopper
• Within 8 months of joining the agency I played an essential role in four new business wins contributing insights and creative ideas as well writing and making the presentations that won the

complete renovation of their website, overhauling their marketing plan and guiding the
development of a geo-targeted digital media plan designed to overcome distribution challenges.

The MARS Agency, Director Shopper Marketing
Accomplishments: Recruited to be the on-site thought leader and trusted adviser for MARS’ Campbell’s Soup client, I collaborated on a daily basis with the brand, integrated, shopper marketing, sales, insights and category management teams to identify retailer business objectives and support both the retailer’s goals and Campbell brand strategies with shopper-focused initiatives.
• I led the design and implementation of a restructured planning process to ensure that shopper, retailer and brand insights, as well as analytic rigor, were integral to all activation plans, propelling
25% - 50% increases in retail customer support and by extension consumer product sales.
• Looking to ensure we gained the most learning from the programs we activated, I instituted and
oversaw a comprehensive annual Lessons Learned analysis and made critical contributions to a
team charged with developing a concise and proprietary tool for measuring shopper marketing

Accomplishments: For 7 years I worked with the region’s top consumer promotion and integrated marketing agencies delivering strategic planning, concept creation, marketplace analysis, acquisition and retention program development, project management oversight, research services and account management for such
clients as Intel, Unilever, Pfizer, Avon, Energizer, Campbell’s, Novartis, ConAgra, French’s, Georgia-
Pacific. A few examples:
• During a 2-year assignment I seamlessly led a multi-agency team through annual planning cycles tasked with building cohesive brand strategies and activation campaigns for two Unilever brands.
