Our President



Savitz Research Companies, Inc., one of the top fifty marketing research and insights companies for more than ten years was sold last year for an undisclosed amount. Out of courtesy to the buyers, Founder and CEO Jeff Savitz did not compete for a full year. However, his passion for research, insights and helping clients grow bigger and stronger did not wane. During the year off, Jeff prepared to follow through on his passions by writing two books, teaching at two universities and writing a thesis on how to significantly reduce the cost of survey research.


He completely modernized his educational background from Columbia University and The Wharton School by taking thirteen graduate courses including: Applied Multivariate Analysis, Experimental Design, Consumer Behavior, New Product Development, Pricing, Advanced Marketing Strategy, Database Marketing Analytics, Retail Marketing Analytics and two courses on Social Media Marketing. As you can see, Jeff is armed with the most current tools plus he brings more than 25 years of experience to the table with his new company Savitz Consulting.




  • CEO and founder, Savitz Consulting Companies - Developed one of the 50 largest marketing research companies in the U.S. with annual sales of over $10M. Personally worked on over 500 projects involving qualitative and quantitative research in a very broad range of categories.
  • Research Director, The Richards Group - Developed the research department and worked on a variety of studies for all of the agency's clients.  The Richards Group is the leading advertising agency in the southwest and largest privately held agency in the U.S.
  • Research Manager, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals - Supervised staff in conducting consumer and medical survey research on various pharmaceutical and OTC products.  Developed Promotion Response, New Category and Product Identification, Media Selection and Sales Forecasting Models.
  • Research Manager, CBS - Managed staff conducting qualitative and quantitative research and data mining projects.  Developed tests measuring the effectiveness of television advertising in support of print and direct mail campaigns.  Created direct mail list screening models for music clubs and continuity book series.
  • Research Coordinator, AT&T - Responsible for equipment determinations for major East Coast Centrex clients.  Wrote software to measure equipment overloads while attending Columbia University.
